The Bremont ALT1-Z was designed with aviators and world travellers in mind. Z stands for ‘Zulu Time’ and allows the wearer to display local time together with the official world time standard: Universal Time Coordinated (UTC), Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), or even Zulu time (Z). UTC replaced GMT in 1972 as the international reference standard for communications, military, aviation, maritime and other activities that span multiple time zones. The ALT1-Z has proven to be widely popular amongst the military squadrons Bremont works with, a significant and ever-increasing part of the Bremont business, and further to feedback from this sector has seen a new version launch in the form of the ALT1-ZT. This is the first time that the design has been developed since the Z series launched in 2007. It boasts a cleaner dial with new applied SuperLumiNova® index markers on the dial and the 24hr function has been moved to the bezel for greater clarity. Greater detailing around the stepped sub dials with micro lines has been made to give the dial more depth.

Bremont is an award-winning British company producing beautifully engineered chronometers at their headquarters in Henly on Thames, England. Time began for Bremont in 2002, when they embarked on a journey to make masterfully crafted pilot’s watches of exceptional quality. Inspired by a love of flying historic aircraft and a passion for watches and all things mechanical, Bremont’s timepieces have been tested beyond the normal call of duty.
Bremont has manufactured watches for over 400 different military units around the world and works with some of the best British engineering companies: Martin-Baker, Rolls-Royce Aerospace, and Jaguar, to name a few. Their watches are the only watches to have ever gone through a live ejection testing programme! Immensely precise, reliable, and durable, Bremont’s watches are either COSC or ISO chronometer rated and are hand-built in limited numbers.
