After saltwater use, be sure to rinse the head with demineralized water and dry thoroughly. While the patina is a lovely detail of bronze and tells the wearer’s individual story, some people prefer a shinier look. To reverse the patina effect, mix two tablespoons of baking soda with a little lemon juice. Apply the paste to the timepiece with a toothbrush, lightly scrubbing until clean. Then, using a soft cloth, dry the timepiece completely.
