Description

The Shinola Bronze Monster 43mm will transport you back to the 1920s with an automatic timepiece that features a bronze case and dark colorways. Inspired by the Prohibition era and the stealth of rumrunners on Michigan waterways, this Shinola Monster commands attention in the most unassuming way. Powered by the SW200-1 automatic movement, which features 26 jewels and a 38-hour power reserve, this watch has a stainless steel caseback and an impressive dive watch aesthetic. Complemented by a premium teak leather strap, the gift set also includes a khaki nylon strap for easy swapping. This 43mm timepiece lends itself to a wearer who has a bit of a rebellious side

This Shinola Monster stands out with its 43mm bronze case and a brushed finish. The caseback is crafted from stainless steel and features a matte black plate. Bronze is known to patinate, creating a unique patina over time and use that’s truly yours. Set inside the unidirectional bezel, the sapphire crystal has an anti-reflective coating to ensure maximum visibility.

Designed with underwater visibility in mind, Super-LumiNova indices radiate from the glossy black dial, providing a clear indication of the time in dark spaces. The dial features a calendar aperture and a diver-down flag as the 12 o’clock marker.

This Shinola Monster is always ready for adventure. Smooth and sophisticated, the quick-release leather strap in teak is the perfect complement to this 43mm Shinola Monster Gift Set. It’s easy to remove, making the swap to the included khaki G10 nylon strap a breeze. Changing tools and spring bars for the nylon strap are included.

Caring for CuSn6: The phosphor bronze used in the construction of the Bronze Monster will develop a beautiful patina over time. Featuring a stainless steel caseback, the Bronze Monster will not discolor your skin. To clean your timepiece, wipe with a dry, soft cloth. After saltwater use, be sure to rinse the head with demineralized water and dry thoroughly. While the patina is a lovely detail of bronze and tells the wearer’s individual story, some people prefer a shinier look. To reverse the patina effect, mix two tablespoons of baking soda with a little lemon juice. Apply the paste to the timepiece with a toothbrush, lightly scrubbing until clean. Then, using a soft cloth, dry the timepiece completely.
