Description

YEMA’s latest French moonwatch designed in collaboration with France’s Space Agency commemorate the 30th anniversary of French parabolic flights (simulated gravity). Designed to meet the strict requirements of ZERO-G flights’ crew members, this new Spacegraf combines perfect readability at all times with high precision. The chronograph feature allows precise reading of G periods during parabolic flights and easiness-of-use when in weightlessness.

The caseback is engraved with France’s Space Agency (CNES) official logo and markings to commemorate both the 30th anniversary of parabolic flights and YEMA’s First French Watch Sent Into Space.

The Spacegraf ZERO-G’s canvas strap has been specifically designed to withstand extreme in-flight conditions when in microgravity but also to be worn elegantly with a dressier outfit.

Precise time measurement and high accuracy (to the nearest second) is a highly sensitive matter for astronauts. France’s Space Agency has privileged a quartz movement over a mechanical one so as to ensure high precision at all times and under all extreme conditions of parabolic flights. During flight tests, the Epson YM90 movement managed to meet all these requirements by perfectly timing zero G periods (chronograph function in combination with red highlighted seconds markers) and parabolic flight stages (minute chronograph feature at 6 o’clock).
