The story behind this re-edition began when Guillaume Laidet discovered an original Antarctic Black & Orange in Cenic, a historic watch repair shop located in Grenchen, Switzerland—the birthplace of Nivada Grenchen.

Hidden among vintage treasures, this rare 1970s reference immediately stood out for its striking black and orange design. Fascinated by its originality and character, Guillaume acquired the watch and used it as the inspiration for this modern re-edition.
