Designed in Los Angeles and handmade with love in Montreal. Tessera is a family run business. It’s created and operated by two sisters, one living in LA (Derev), the other living in Montreal (Daina). Tessera is inspired by the eclectic individuals who make up their diverse family. That diversity has led to a longstanding fascination with colliding contrasts in cultures and beyond. The idea that differences are a beautiful, powerful, and unifying force, has been a common thread in our lives, and one that we’ve always celebrated.
