Part of the #TIDE campaign, the Bear Grylls Master ECO Tide from Luminox features a case and bezel made from #TIDE material and a strap made from recycled PET water bottles. For 25 years, Luminox has partnered with the world’s toughest maritime commandos to create a watch tough enough and useful enough to be “first line gear”. Watch case, bezel and strap made from 100% recycled ocean-bound plastic material.

About #TIDE:
#tide ocean material® is made from 100% ocean-bound plastic, developed in partnership with Swiss scientists. On five islands in the Andaman Sea off the coast of Thailand, local fishermen are being trained and paid to gather and sort plastic waste. This material is registered, washed, shredded and turned into a granular material that can be injected or spun into a yarn. #tide has just launched a third product: Filament that can be used for 3D-Printing. In the #tide Luminox timepiece, this 100% recycled material is used to make the case, bezel. The strap is also recycled sustainable materials made from recycled PET water bottles.
