The first YEMA French Air Force tool watches were designed back in the 1970's to equip the Air Force Diver Rescuers team during helicopter-borne sea rescue missions. Later on, the watches were also used by fighter pilots, making of the YEMA Superman a unique SEA-AIR military tool watch.
The French Air & Space Forces having recently merged, this marks the launch of a new collaboration with YEMA through the release of a new collection of military tool watches specifically designed for fighter jet pilots.
This new Flygraf is the very first official military watch for ladies in the history of the French Air & Space Force. Designed as a true military tool watch, this timepiece comes with a rotating UTC bezel that allows reading of a second time zone and offers good legibility in all lighting conditions. The 34mm steel case with polished finish catches the eye along the shiny crystal bezel and the high-quality mother-of-pearl blue dial.
The notion of time is capital for French Air & Space Force fighter jet pilots sent on military missions all around the world. At their request, YEMA has equipped this professional tool-watch with a UTC rotating bezel allowing the simultaneous reading of 2-time zones without the need for a GMT movement. Simply rotate the 12 Hour bezel and align the relevant bezel UTC hour markers with the hour hand to a time zone you wish to follow.
