he new Superman Heritage Quartz recreates the classic features of the original Superman reference 53.00.16 model from the 1970s. With its iconic YEMA bezel-lock mechanism and with its 660 feet water resistance, the Superman is designed for underwater diving. The steel case has been redesigned in 3D as per the original model then modified to accommodate a Ronda 515 movement. The domed crystal contributes to the unique and resolutely vintage look.

Inspired by the 1960’s tropical style rubber straps, is the newly designed strap will please both YEMA’s vintage watch collectors and those who are looking for the perfect strap to wear during aquatic-based or physical activities. Made on TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), this rubber-like material is extremely flexible, durable and smooth to the touch. It’s the perfect sweat-wicking material, and the easiest strap type to wash.

The unique Superman bezel-lock at 3 o’clock has proven very useful to professional divers and is found on all Superman models since 1963.
